Focus your campaign on education and economics.  Run up your margins in Topeka, Wichita, Kansas City, and the surrounding suburbs, and invest some campaign infrastructure in rural areas so as to limit Republican margins in western KS and boost turnout for local races where Democrats are competitive.

Do not talk about gays, abortions, or gay abortions.  Support gun rights and endorse marijuana legalization to turn out youngs.  Take no mercy on Brownback and Kobach.
