You really cannot get too much more elitist than this:

The cheesy (weirdly tied) american flag tie behind your head really doesnt strike me as super elite.  (The knot is good [not just a plain four in hand], but couldnt it have been stars instead of stripes?)  And the american flag tie itself...hah.

Be careful, if I'm not mistaken Mr. JJ's tie is tied in a plain four-in-hand!  (I can joke because really that's all I know how to do, alas, jumped up as I am).

Wormy looks like he could be some sort of ruthless corporate executive or something. Maybe a lower level member of the CIA. Something sinister.

Not sure what you mean with the last one, but the picture generally makes me think you're either part of some sort of outside-the-pentagon government conspiracy or a rising, cunning, and ruthless person in the private sector.

And yet, he'd probably break down crying if he ran over a chipmunk.  THen again... I can't say I wouldn't do the same.

I would assume this link would explain his intention.

Hmm... didn't take your Latin.

To explain the joke: sinister = left-handed, dexter = right-handed.

You said it JJ.  In one photo we confirm that Torie's background is firmly upper-class, as well as get to know his grandmother who was apparently an extreme right-winger and social conservative!

That screed was penned by my first cousin once removed on his mother's grave stone.  He was a local lawyer in Winterset who was disbarred for defaming judges or something like that.  He was, in a word, a nutter.

"Emigrating" instead of "emanating"? Doesn't sound very upper class to me.

What am I missing from Torie's photo?  Is there meant to be a grave stone waaaaaaay off in the distance of that field or something?

Cool get up, by the way.  I have a bunch of RVCA stuff... (a friend gets me 40% off).

Yes, the grammar and the punctuation of the epitaph rant leaves something to be desired doesn't it?  It was a bit of chore to read it out loud.  Smiley

On part of the farm, I fantasized that I was in Sherwood Forest. This little spot of earth was simply gorgeous to my eyes. It was almost as glorious as the countryside around Groombridge near Tunbridge Wells.

Lewis, are you assuming that that sentence refers to Communism? Because I thought it simply referred to Eastern European immigrants.

My guess is that it was an elliptical reference to Jews.  In certain quarters of a certain era, Jews, and Communism and Eastern Europe were rather crudely conflated.

Yes, quite so. Why would Eastern European immigrants be a form of tyranny? (Though Torie's interpretation also makes sense, and one would need the year of her death to be quite certain.)
