What is the weather like in Illinois?  Dr. Greg Forbes of the Weather Channel just raised his TOR CON to a 6 for the central and northwest parts of the state.  How will that affect voting turnout?

Northwestern Illinois seems like it'd be Trump-friendly.

The reports I'm reading are voting is anywhere from a little to a lot up. There are some scorching hot primary races (read $5M+ for a legislative seat primary) and that is driving up turnout. In the Springfield area the unions are pushing their Dems to take a Pub ballot for a specific State Senate race.

So far the weather has only impacted the NW corner of the state. Storms started early this morning around Rock Island, and this afternoon they are moving into Rockford. It's sunny and mild right now here in the Chicago burbs. It's unclear when the storms will get here.

The Trump tactics begin:

A lot of complaints from people saying my name is not on the ballot in various places in Florida? Hope this is false.

I'm certain that Trump's name isn't on the Democratic ballot that these registered Democrat complainers have to pull in Florida's closed primary.

Can't blame her, I voted for Cruz in Oklahoma, although I could have gone either way between him and Trump.

Didn't you previously endorse Paul, Christie, and Rubio?

Maybe Bernie guys again. Bernie does better with this "independent" minded voters than Hillary so he has more to lose

And they have some rumored non-sense in Illinois - Don't know how true, 5/6 or 6/6 allocation in Ballot - Get it wrong & votes get cancelled

Just wanted to say, I got back from my polling place. I saw someone with a Trump sticker on his vest (a voter, not a pollster).

I had to walk through plenty of literature to get to vote and I noticed that there were no signs for Cruz, Kasich, Sanders, Clinton, or Rubio. There were signs for Trump, but none for them. So, take that for whatever you might make of it?

There wasn't a huge turn out, and this is one of the reddest counties. I took pics, but I'm not up to the 20 post threashold to post them yet. There was no wait to vote. However, we asked the lady who was handing out ballots and she said there had been a 30 minute wait for most of the day and that we just missed the crowd.

So we may have lucked out, or maybe people in Randolph County feel so sure Trump will win that they aren't voting in the same numbers as NC's more purple counties.

Also, I voted FOR on the NC Bond Referendum. I hope it passes. Does anyone know where I can find out the results on that as soon as it comes in?
