I only live an hour or so away. I can agree, everyone around me seems to like Trump.

Hey now, just because they’re voting based on feelings and not facts doesn’t mean we get to call them names!!

American voters only care about personality and charisma. It's disgusting.

Im in Florida right now and everyone seems to hate Trump. I guess we're even.

Seriously, who gives a crap. We'll find out if these people really are representative in November.

If you're talking about OH specifically, it's one of the few states where Trump has held up well in approvals and Sherrod Brown trailed in at least 3 polls. I don't think it's a good representation of America. If you're talking about nationally, I agree.

Stuff like this is why conservatives hate CNN so much. They know it's respectable journalism, so it hurts when it comes after Trump.

Speaking as someone whose family is from Ohio, the only people who live in Ohio these days are the ones who don't have the good sense to move somewhere else. No shock that figure disproportionately includes Deplorables.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that 2 of the 5 people interviewed are black? Regardless, they seem like the type that would turn on him in the race of a crash.

So if they did a casting call for Trump voters how is it a surprise they'd approve of him? How many of them voted for Obama? A lot of these 'we still love Trump' people in these stories are down the line Republicans who voted for Bush-McCain-Romney and would approve of any R in office. I'm more interesting in hearing from Johnson/Stein voters since they were pretty much the difference in most of the swing states.

Electing presidents on personality is nothing new though. Who was the last president elected more on policy than charisma or personality? Maybe Nixon? The average person and the vast majority of both parties voters don’t understand policy nuance, or only have strong positions on a handful of issues.

These are registered Republicans who voted for Trump in 2016, you diplodocus.  Did you not bother watching the video you posted or just see a black guy in the group and assume they were Democrats?

Tough talk from someone who lives in a state that gave us Joe McCarthy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Aldrich Ames, Ed Gein, Scott Walker, Paul Ryan, the most drunk driving arrests of any state in the country, and has one of the highest unemployment rates in the midwest.

The video called them former Democrats (or members from Democratic families, likely to cover the student). But spot on for point 2.

They're almost certainly "Democrats" in the same way that Santander is a Democrat.

This, also if you're a former Democrat then logic dictates that you are no longer a Democrat.  In any case, folks certainly hate Trump's guts in central Ohio.

Democrats aren't losing based on what random posters on uselectionatlas.org/FORUM are writing.

So what is the winning strategy in dealing with people who benefit from your policies but too bigoted against other constituents to ever vote for you?

If we just stop writing mean things about them on uselectionatlas.org/FORUM, people who hate Democrats so much that they would gladly vote for racist pedophiles over them will support us in no time!

Ohio is becoming more and more like Missouri. Also they are going to lose a bunch of electoral votes so obviously they won't matter as much in the future.
