That...went a lot better for Fezzy than I thought it would.

BTW, I agree with Frodo, although...neither Fezzy nor Sensei wants to take out the remaining half of Ernest's empire because the other would get his cards.  If this continues...Ernest could get another set and reestablish himself.

BTW, if Fezzy wins, it'll be a great come from behind, and also a much harder fought win for him than last game.
Come from behind? He has hardly been subject to any serious attack throughout the entire game. He seems to have played the diplomatic game deftly again, fooling his oppents into not attacking him. Tongue

So the combined offensive against Fezzy by Sensei and myself counts for nothing, then?  I would have crushed him had: 1. The Mikado not been destroyed, enabling Ernest to consolidate his position in the West unimpeded; and 2. had Ernest not attacked me from the west, depriving me of sole control over the Midwest. 

There is little doubt in my mind that Ernest and Fezzy have been in collusion, at least since Fezzy looked like he had his back to the wall, and possibly much earlier. 

None of you ever deprived him of his regional bonus, whcih means that he has been collecting lots of forces all the time. Unless my count is off we enter this round with Ernest having 14 armies, Sensei having 32 and Fezzy 33. Fezzy is now having the first turn with solid control of 2 regions 11 reinforcements and no Sensei defence whatsoever.

If anyone is in collusion it seems to be Sensei and Fezzy, which is ironic given the outcome of the last game.
