Republican Congressman Jim Nussle and Iowa Secretary of State Chet Culver are very close in this poll.

Other Possible Democratic Challengers:

Chet Culver (D) 40% - Jim Nussle (R) 38%.
Ed Fallon (D) 31% - Jim Nussle (R) 41%.
Michael Blouin (D) 34% - Jim Nussle (R) 41%.

The telephone survey of 500 Likely Voters was conducted by Rasmussen Reports March 29, 2006. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.5 percentage points at the midpoint with a 95% level of confidence.
