About this Poll

This poll was conducted Sunday through Wednesday by Selzer & Co. of Des Moines, Iowa, and is based on interviews with 500 Hoosiers statewide ages 18 and older, as well as residents who identified themselves as likely Democratic primary voters.

In all, 535 of those likely voters were interviewed, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.2 percentage points, and 384 general election voters were interviewed, with a margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points. The data were weighted by age and race.

Interviewers contacted households using randomly generated telephone numbers.
