^ = Incumbent Party (Current Governor Retiring) Hassan With Slight Lead in NH. Large Undecided Vote By: leip (I-NY) on 2012-10-03 @ 11:40:26 Question: "Suppose the election for Governor of New Hampshire was being held today and the candidates were Ovide Lamontagne, the Republican and Maggie Hassan, the Democrat, who would you vote for?" [ROTATE CANDIDATES] About this Poll These findings are based on the latest WMUR Granite State Poll, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. Five hundred thirty-eight (538) randomly selected New Hampshire adults were interviewed by landline and cellular telephone between April 9 and April 20, 2012. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.2 percent. Included is a subsample of 486 likely general election voters (margin of sampling error +/- 4.4%). The data have been weighted to adjust for numbers of adults and telephone lines within households, respondent sex, and region of the state. In addition to potential sampling error, all surveys have other potential sources of non-sampling error including question order effects, question wording effects, and non-response.
