If the primary election for California governor were today, and you were filling out your ballot right now, who would you vote for? (candidate names rotated) Democrat Jerry Brown? Republican Tim Donnelly? Republican Neel Kashkari? Or another candidate?

About this Poll
SurveyUSA interviewed 1,000 state of CA adults 05/16/14 through 05/19/14. Of the adults, 871 were registered to vote. Of the registered, 610 were determined by SurveyUSA to have already voted in the 06/03/14 CA Primary, or were determined by SurveyUSA to be certain to vote before the deadline. This research was conducted using blended sample, mixed mode. Respondents reachable on a home telephone (70% of likely voters) were interviewed on their home telephone in the recorded voice of a professional announcer. Respondents not reachable on a home telephone (30% of likely voters) were shown a questionnaire on their smartphone, tablet or other electronic device.

Note: This poll is for the open primary, from which the top two will proceed to the general election.
