(names rotated) Barack Obama leads John McCain 83% to 13% among Democrats (30% of likely voters). McCain leads Obama 85% to 10% among Republicans (29% of likely voters). And Obama leads McCain 47% to 40% among independent voters (41% of likely voters). McCain leads Obama 50% to 41% among men (48% of likely voters). In the June 13-17 survey, Obama was leading 48% to 47% among men. Among women (52% of likely voters), Obama leads 52% to 41%. In the June 13-17 survey, Obama was leading 54% to 32% among women. Obama leads McCain 51% to 43% among voters age 18 to 49 (44% of likely voters). Among voters age 50 and older (56% of likely voters),McCain leads 47% to 44%. 37% of likely voters say they would never vote for John McCain in the general election and 28% of likely voters say they would never vote for Barack Obama in the general election.
