SurveyUSA interviewed 725 New York adults 10/11/08 and 10/12/08. Of the adults, 644 were registered to vote. Of the registered voters, 547 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely voters in the 11/04/08 general election. New York has 31 Electoral College votes. John Kerry carried the state by 18 points in 2004; Al Gore carried the state by by 25 points in 2000.
