Obama ahead of Mccain

North Carolina was added to the final round of Allstate/NJ red-state polling. Obama leads McCain there 47 percent to 43 percent.

The surveys were taken October 23-27 and involved just over 400 registered voters in each of the five states. Conducted by Ed Reilly and Brent McGoldrick of FD, a business and financial communications company, the polls have a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.
