About this Poll

Based on the results of the Vanderbilt Poll conducted between February 16-22, 2012, among the 815 registered voters who indicate that they have either already voted or who plan on voting in the Republican primary, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum would beat former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney by 18%. (Note: This includes the 10% of the sample who initially indicated "None of the Above" and who were pushed to provide a most-preferred candidate.) However, even after being pushed 13% of those who indicate that they intend to vote in the Republican primary are still unable to express a preference.
