Poll Technical Comments

Why is MN not colored gray after this poll?

I see two polls with positive republican followed by a positive democratic, meaning it should be placed into the tossup, gray color, category.

I disagree. It should be placed in a category based on the combined lastest three poll percentage. Therefore Coleman still leads since the last three polls place Coleman up 3 and 15 while one places Franken up 3. Minnesota should be left as slight or lean Coleman. preciction Map

That is not exactly how the owner of this site colors states, or at least not how his history of coloring states works.

Three straight polls of one candidate leading = color in favor of leading candidate (hue based on average)
Two straight polls of one candidate leading followed by a TIE or the opposite candidate leading = tossup
One straight poll of one candidate leading, for a state not named Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, or Massachusettes, or a territory named District of Columbia = tossup
