About this Poll

From October 3 - 9, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,459 registered voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.6 percentage points. Live interviewers call land lines and cell phones. The poll includes 345 Republicans surveyed October 5 - 9, after New Jersey Gov. Christopher Christie and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin dropped out. The margin of error is +/- 5.3 percent.
