About this Poll
N= 617 Louisiana likely voters (415 landline, 202 cell phone)
Interviews Conducted: September 14-16, 2014

The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The poll was conducted by telephone with live interviewers with a random sample of Louisiana likely voters.

Landline and cell phone numbers were randomly selected from a statewide voter file of registered Louisiana voters using a probability proportionate to size method. This simply means that phone numbers are proportionally representative to the number of voters in all regions across the state of Louisiana.

Voters who were registered prior to 2013 yet had not voted in at least one of the last four statewide general elections were excluded from the sample. Respondents who indicated they were unlikely to vote in November were also excluded.

Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of ± 4 percentage points.
