You really have lost it. There's no way for any candidate to win over 50% in IL. And the Reps are about ten points behind in both MI and OR.

Topinka and Nussle have a shot. It was revealed today, even though this wasn't much of a secret, that Whitney used to be a member of some socialist labor party that advocated the abolishment of capitalism. This may push protest votes into Topinka's camp thus making it a much tighter race. However, there is zero chance of any candidate reaching 50% in the Illinois race.

People who were considering voting Whitney were protesting against both sleazy candidates, not just Blagojevich. They'll just stay home if they decide Whitney isn't worth it.

Mishigan is going to vote for Granholm. Probably by a meaningfull margin (6%-8%) too.
