Progressive Party of Washington (2003)

The Progressive Party of Washington is a minor political party founded in 2003. It claims to be the latest reincarnation of previous the previous Progressive parties of 1912, 1924, and 1948.

Elections

In 2006, Linde Knighton ran for State Representative #1 of the 43rd Legislative District as member of the Progressive Party. She came in third, receiving 4.5% of the vote.

In the non-partisan election for Mayor of Seattle in 2005, Progressive Party member Christal Wood came in a distant third with 6.2% of the vote in the primary, failing to make the general election.
