There needs to be a temporary lockdown of the Off-Topic thread.  Maybe a few days.  Let all of this pass out of everyone's system.

I chose no, but in a very general sense.  If they are of decent age and they love each other, I have no problem with them holding hands or an arm around the shoulder or the middle back.  Where I think it crosses the line is when they lock their lips together in a passionate kiss before they're even adults.  Ideally, I think kissing should be preserved until at least engagement and you know without a shadow of a doubt that this girl (or guy) is the one you're going to live with the rest of your life, and if possible the wedding day just to make the first time more pleasurable and more meaningful.  Now, sadly, I can't say that I've followed my own advice.  I have kissed a girl before, passionately, but she was my ex-fiance' and I thought we were going to tie the knot.  So, in a way, I am ashamed of that, but in another way, I am not.  Now, a kiss on the cheek or even a quick peck on the lips is fine, just no tongue.

wow...

Yeah and I thought I was bad personally.  Haven't kissed a girl until I was 19 while a lot of people I knew already had sex by then.  And WOW even ringed her without getting a "preview".  4 months salary for a rock out of me will require a lot of freaky things.  I guess if you feel that way I can't knock it, but I hate to say this might be a factor in the broken engagement.  I mean the guy BushOK's ex left him for is a freaking grandpa and I'm sure he got sex out of her before a ring was placed.  Women do not like pushovers or really prudish guys.  Shows weakness.

Sorry.  Just thought you needed the pep talk.

Yeah but you need to remember, Andrew, that girls in the 62nd Ward are really slutty. They're the types that would have had a "Morganelli for Attorney General 2008" yard sign on their lawn...if you know what I mean.

I think the bigger mystery is how the Republicans hung on to Maryland.

Because that's where the Willie Horton murders took place.
I could not agree more.

What I find most interesting about that thread is that there's a post by Lunar... from 2005.

I don't get it. Is Flyers doing some kind of "asshole pretending to be sympathetic while really being pathetic"-routine as a joke of some kind or is he really doing it and thinking that it's not obvious? Strange, either way.

Very distasteful, but best post ever. Click for context.

This was the result of a President Forever Game. I personally found this to be very ironic.

Former Vice-President Al Gore/Senator Barack Obama: 506 Electoral Votes, 61.3% of the popular vote.
Former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani/Governor 'Bobby' Jindal: 32 Electoral Votes, 38.7% of the popular vote.

I came from behind (The GOP had 521 EVs in their column after my convention) after a bloody primary with a massive warchest, decline public financing, and blitzed ads constantly until election day. Beautiful, but even when winning in one of the biggest landslides in history, Gore just couldn't take Florida. Sad

Do you support a mandatory spelling class?
For elementary and middle school, not high school.

Since you need one.

Yes. I was valedictorian of my high school class, which then helped me get a full academic scholarship to college.

Congratulations!  You know, I was deployed into orbit long before anybody else in my NASA flight program, and voted Most Attractive Future President two years running, so I too know what it feels like to be successful.

My goodness, the internet is so helpful for discussing these things openly, you know?

He even sat next to Schock in the House! How awesome is that?

Phil, your crush on Schock is really getting out of hand.

Next thing you know, we'll learn that the two of them took a trip to Iowa, ostensibly for the caucuses.

On Mike Keller;

Is that what tough guys do in Georgia?  Because in Jersey we stand up for ourselves.

He reminds me of an annoying nine-year old on another French forum.

and you remind me of an annoying friend of mine.

Good for you. I don't care.
Dear Brezhoneg,

IF YOU DON'T HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!
This, my friends, is why ten year old kids ought to refrain from posting on these sorts of forums.
