Selfies in the latrine are disturbing, guys.

Such a sensitive guy you are Grumps. Who knew?

I knew.  I don't like women doing selfies from the girls room either, El Toro.

Anyone else notice the awkward sexual tension on this thread?

BACK ON TOPIC: took a selfie at a wedding in Montreal in May. Hooray for being biracial.

Are you a Mormon missionary?

Dear Lord, no.

This place jumped the shark when Torie posted a shirtless picture.

You've been here since 2004, and the shark wasn't jumped until now? Please.

now it's jumped the sharknado.

What's so unusual about dressing nicely for a wedding? Huh

Nothing wrong with it, bur I don't see young guys in a dress shirt and tie often. Especially a plain white shirt. The rolled up sleeves give the impression of short sleeves, which would be very Mormon.

Where I'm from -- New Jersey -- it's quite acceptable to get as wild drunk as you want to be. But you have to do it with respectful attire. One of my best party pictures ever was taken at a wedding. I look smashed, but still absolutely terrific in that tie.

You must be new. Tongue
The Post a Picture thread used to be called the creepy thread.

It's actually much less sexual nowadays than it was when I first joined. The old threads were like a gay bar for political nerds. Wink

At weddings? Most of the weddings I go to are black tie! I couldn't imagine not dressing up for a wedding.

Here I am tired and a little annoyed but pretty much all right at a rest stop in Asamushi-onsen, Aomori Prefecture, scant minutes ago, with a sign behind me telling people not to climb over the low glass wall that separates the level of the building on which I'm sitting from the empty space of a five-or-so-meter drop.

Despite being tired and annoyed, you look good, there, Nathan.  Glad you're having a good time in Japan--I haven't been there in five years and miss many places and people there.  Interesting sign in the background.  One thing that always slightly amused me about living there was not only the large number of caution signs, but how many audible warnings were set up on train platforms, escalators, elevators, store entrances, act., telling patrons to be very careful and mindful of the dangers of this or that.  It was nice that services and businesses there were so conscientious about the patrons, but it sort of made me feel every once in a while like the place was far more dangerous than it really is.  Tongue  Enjoy your stay.

I guess I'll post this, taken two days ago in Halifax.  I know, as the hairline faithfully attests, that I'm not young anymore, but hopefully I don't look too bad just yet.

When I saw Al's picture, I was amazed...he looks almost exactly like the current president of the Schopenhauer-Gesellschft in Germany the last time I saw him, about seven years ago.  Really, the resemblance is incredible!  Smiley
