Why are you suprised? If it wasn't for the clintons he wouldn't have goner further than being the Charlie rangel campaign manager in 1994.

I like it. USA is not Chile. "Socialism" would not work in the USA at this point in time. It might work in the future though, once people are slowly getting used to the idea. But it'll take at the very least 20-25 more years. Don't be so unpatient please. Smiley [I've lived in Chile, so I know what I'm talking about lol. I really like Michelle Bachelet btw. Wink]

Hahahaha, well, I don't care too much about labels, and to me "socialism" is a very vague word, as you can see (even in this forum) several people claim their own view on socialism (and in part that is one of the reasons why left-wing movements are so fractured between them), but I know is a very dirty word in USA but that is quickly changing (I hope so haha). To me, the key issue is proposed policies and Bernie Sanders is the one that I think is the best candidate (because he proposes the policies that I like the most). I didn't like the endorsement because I hate Hillary (I like her and I wouldn't have a problem voting for her, although I'm not american) but I think De Blasio is ideologically closer to Sanders and I would love to see them pushing a more progressive agenda together. But Hydera is right and I understand the reasons of his decision.

Do you really lived in Chile? when? that's nice ahahaha, btw I voted for Bachelet in 2013 but I don't support her government anymore (I still like her, but Nueva Mayoria is full of crap). And the socialists party in chile is just a big tent party that just seek to stay in power as long as possible, they don't have any ideology.

The PS in Chile  is as close to the Democrats  as you can get in Latin American politics

Somehow this seems like the most obvious endorsement ever. Despite it being something of a surprise that Gardner would endorse this early, I couldn't conceive of him endorsing anyone else.

I think this will begin the wave.

An interesting thing: Rubio cut Spanish-language ads on his behalf for the CO-Sen race last year, but Bush did that too. And Bush also held a rally for Gardner.

So now Paul Rubio and Bush have senate endorsements?

Yes, along with Graham and Huckabee. Christie, Cruz and Kasich have the endorsements of some former Senators, but no current ones.

If Rubio doesn't denounce his endorsement, I will take it that he too also supports banning condoms.

He's a former Mormon, so he probably supports Romney's 47% view lol.

The Governator has also made an appearance or two with Pataki (who in typical Pataki style wouldn't stop Tweeting about it) and Carly worked with him while he was Governor of California. He probably won't endorse until the nominee is already decided.

Same problem a lot of the establishment Republicans are having: having to pick between 2-4 of their friends.

How do you get this information so early? I go to breakingnews.com, but somebody else always seems to figure stuff out before I do.

I'm pretty sure the condom thing is just a running joke at this point. There are a lot of reasons to dislike Gardner though.
