Woah! Sanders almost performed as well as Obama in Hawaii!

71% in Hawaii?

Is this real? We're winning by a much bigger margin than I thought. Hillbots were saying Hawaii is Obama's state & what not.

Imagine Sanders winning Hawaii with the same margin as Alaska

It's legit, the NY Times has the same numbers. I think you're forgetting how good Bernie's margin in Alaska was, though.

Yea right! Hawaii has barely 20-25% Whites, full of Asians, some natives!

One of the smallest white states - wow!

Bernie scored some impressive margins of victory today, but he still has an insurmountable math problem.  Regardless, he should relish his moment in the sun, and thank Tulsi Gabbard, as well as the little birdie.

By far the least white. Hawaii is 23%. California and NM are 2nd and 3rd place with around 39%.

Your couple minutes has just ended. And still no results. Again, this is why:

The Hawaii caucus wasn't actually held. DWS canceled it and did some fake reporting of turnout so no one realizes until a couple days from now. Any protests will be ignored, and a carefully regulated state convention will be held later, where a 100% Hillary delegate slate will be selected for the national convention.

I'm starting to believe you.

She even made up this story to make it seem legit.

Yeah, because Clinton precinct captains are going to risk her entire campaign on a highly illegal scheme to get rid of a few votes in a one-sided state that barely effects an election that she's already winning by an insurmountable margin.  Show me the video.

Gotta give credit to Bernie here for being able to get the minority vote in Hawaii today. Now if he could have duplicated this success with other minorities in the South and Illinois/Ohio he'd be in a better shape.

Asians are less disenfranchised than white people. They're also more reasonable, from what I can tell. The only more reasonable minority group is Native Americans.

Very dank results.
While the bloodbath margins in all states surprised me a little, Hawaii is especially unexpected.  Congrats team Sanders!

I've been unable to find any information on Asians in Hawaii. I assume they are generally as rich as Whites in Hawaii?

Asians are richer than whites but Native Hawaiians are poorer than whites. Less difference between the races than in the US as a whole.

Yeah, Native Hawaiians tend to be clustered in the more poorer areas. http://www.moolelo.com/hawaiian-poorest.html

Name recognition was an issue. Wisconsin will be an interesting test. Bernie needs another huge win to put more pressure on Clinton.

Bernie's demographic is often summed up as "White people" but really it's more "people who read online news recreationally" It's not a surprise that richer Asians would go for him then. FOB Chinese immigrants in New York will probably go for Hillary.

The rest of Hawaiʻi's numbers are in:
Sanders 69.8%, 23,530 votes, 17 delegates
Clinton 30.0%, 10,125 votes, 8 delegates
(33,716 total, 100%)

70-30 , 17-8 split. If he would be getting 71-72 depending on CD's he would have likely got 18-7.

Finally I think we will have -
WA - 74-27
AK - 13-3
HI - 17-8

Net - 66 Delegates

Not Bad - 104 to 38 out out of 142 is pretty damn good!

So Sanders got less than 68.75% in HI-1?
