What?

Anyway, it's funny to see "the Elite" is the most blamed scapegoat. To the Conservatives on this forum, "the Elite" probably are Hollywood actors and NYT Journalists. To me, they are more like the J. P. Morgan-Chase executives and Exxon shareholders.

It's all fine and dandy to go around looking for who caused the problems. But if you want to know who is truly responsible for all the evils of our world, all mankind must do is look into a mirror. Our silence as a global populace on the horrors and evils of other nations and even our own leaves only mankind to blame. One person can make a global impact, but unfortunately we are all too lazy for our own good to help others by helping the world, and so help ourselves.

Chris Christie. I believe that him hugging Barack Obama after Hurricane Sandy was the divergence point for this horrible timeline we seem to be living in.

This.  More specifically, ammonium nitrate, because we very well might not be here talking today were it not for its invention.

Romney did worse than Kerry. He wasn't even close. If there was any close election that could've gone the other way (where the other side may have actually won if a full recount were allowed to take place) - it would be the 2000 election.

Everything came together to gave Bush an edge. Jeb assisted in viciously scrubbing the voter rolls and limiting the recount. Cruz and Roberts played crucial roles on the legal team of the Bush 2000 campaign.

Trump and Stone played roles in wrecking the reform party, and Stone had a role to play with regards to initiating riots to delay the recount before the court decision ended it.

^ By the way, think about it. Gore winning in 2000 would signify the defeat of the religious right and would mean no Iraq War. Without that, there is no Obama, no Obama = no Tea Party (no deep bench of opportunists), etc.

Agreed on Christie, but the POD was him destroying Rubio during that debate ("lets dispel with this fiction..."). Without that, Rubio gets the nomination and loses the general to Hillary.

He's upper class. I'm referring more to families making between $125,000-300,000 a year.

The mangers, the rentiers, the landlords, the executives, the oligarchs, the flag wavers (both of the positive and transferred nationalist variety), the spooks, the military brass, the 24 hour media, the tech entrepreneurs, the communists, the technocrats, the clergy, the Hollywood bosses, the tabloids, the beautiful people and the data journalists.

Spain. Maaaaaaaaaaaybe I can forgive them the Eighty Year's War if they keep on electing Rajoy or other PP politicians, but the 2010 world cup still hurts. Pathetic excuse of a country.  them.

Other than that none actually. There is not really a group we can blame for everything (other than humanity I suppose).

It's a bit of a flawed poll, considering liberals and conservatives may blame the same thing, but for different reasons. I checked "the media" because I think they've created misleading narratives on both sides. A conservative may also blame the media, but because it is hopelessly biased against them.
