In light of his upcoming trip to New Hampshire, Merkley is asked if he’s going to run for president, and he says maybe:

I am not sure if Harris will really run she may think she's too green to go for it. Or may bow out to Booker/Warren, I have her at 50/50 on running, Warren 80/20, Booker/Gillibrand 99%.

Based on??? Feelings??

What Republicans revolting against Trump? His approval rating among republicans is in the 80s. Hillary already tried that and it didn't work.

Skipping both Iowa and New Hampshire seems totally ridiculous.  I can't imagine him actually going through with that.  Especially if you're the frontrunner, or one of the frontrunners, even skipping one of them seems like a big sign of weakness.

Anyway, I think some of the more interesting paragraphs from that story are these:

He can keep this bullsh-t. Roll Eyes

And if Booker is in the race, I wouldn't be so sure about hedging bets on South Carolina. Booker is very beloved by older black women down here.

I already mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Booker, Gillibrand, and Warren were scheduled to speak at a DNC fundraiser in DC this week.  Well, they’ve done that now, and this recap says Booker got the best reception:

Sunday morning talk show watch:

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/US_NEWS_SHOWS?SITE=AP

Elizabeth Warren is really going to do the rounds on the Sunday morning talk show circuit this weekend, appearing on Meet the Press, State of the Union, and Fox News Sunday.

Meanwhile, Jeff Flake will be on Meet the Press as well.

So I already mentioned that Warren will be on a bunch of Sunday morning talk shows tomorrow.  Apparently, she’s already done her interview for Meet the Press, though it won’t be broadcast until tomorrow.  The interview includes an extended sequence in which Chuck Todd tries to pin her down on 2020.  She gives present tense denials of “I am not running for president” and “I have no intention of running for president”, neither of which would seem to preclude her developing such an intention in the next 12-18 months or so.

And she doesn’t give an answer when asked if she’ll pledge to serve out her entire 6 year Senate term, once she’s reelected:

Looks like Warren’s interview for CNN’s State of the Union was also pre-taped, and she used the somewhat more provocative formulation in her denial there "I am not running for president in 2020”:

Still, I’m skeptical, given her refusal to commit to a full term in the Senate, and the “focused” phraseology.  I’ll wait for the video to come out to get a better reading on this.

Sounds like a pretty standard non-denial before saying that she's changed her mind next year.

Voters are tired of these Clintonesque statements that sound like they're saying something, but aren't.

OK, I watched all three of the Elizabeth Warren Sunday morning denials….

Here’s her extended back and forth on 2020 with Chuck Todd on Meet the Press:

https://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/video/warren-i-am-not-running-for-president-1182655043765

Here’s the video of her appearance on Fox News Sunday:

http://video.foxnews.com/v/5749267315001/?#sp=show-clips

At about the 9:30 mark, she’s asked about 2020, and gives the “I am not running for president in 2020” formulation.

And then here’s her denial on State of the Union:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWDvpWE9Xl4&t=6m5s

Watching the videos doesn’t change my earlier opinion.  She consistently uses present tense, and won’t commit to serving her entire Senate term, so these don’t seem like convincing denials.

Hickenlooper is apparently visiting Iowa on April 3rd:

Just a click bait article based on nothing and whose goal is just to rile up her right wing and left wing haters into giving that d-rate website some clicks.
