Although I think Rossi is a greasy slimeball, if I was a gambler, I'd bet on him winning.
The thing is the democrats are throwing away a 100% winnable race with awful garbage candidates there are like 9? Democrats running all no names and 2-3 with a good shot at Winning the primary are attacking each other on Twitter while Dino Rossi has cleared the field on the GOP side he’s also raised last I checked a million dollars he actually raised 500,000 in 12 days.

That's true, I have it at tilt R now, but any more of this clown car wreck, and I will have to go to Lean R on this prediction.

One thing that may hurt Rossi: IIRC - he is generally pro-life. District is mostly pro-choice.

What I will say is he acts like he is not conservative and claims to be center right but we all know he is bull craping. He won his first primary by running far to the right his gop opposition was all pro-choice he ran as pro life and won. He in the past wanted both evolution and creationism in schools. He seems to be opposed to gay marriage. He in 2010 ran on being opposed to gun control and IN Favor of a Wall.

But those are the reasons I like Rossi he doesn’t run social values campaigns which makes conservatives mad but I get why it’s not smart the dems every race bait him on abortion he responds with every SOUL matters. AKA pro-life without saying pro-life.

Probably - more then you. At least 2 wins for state Senate before first governor race. So, right now, despite district leanings, and because low quality of Democratic candidates, i also consider this race Tilt R. Of course - a lot may change until November 6th.

Rossi only has about a 25% chance of winning and that's being generous.

I have no idea where you’re getting likely democrat the only poll from WA-8 had Rossi down 44-43 to a generic democrat.

Agree to disagree. Especially - with Democratic candidates essentially being "bunch of nobodys". I was really surprised how weak Democratic "list" was...

For all the talk about democrats flipping the house if these are the candidates there recruiting in swing districts then I honestly don’t see how they win. Besides all the democrats are socialist who want single payer and more abortion rights,in my view for a seat that votes republican all down ballot that is some awful candidates.

Actually one of the hallmarks of a wave is to sweep in candidates who might not have otherwise won. Waves also hit harder when a seat is open as opposed to being held by an incumbent. And I'm not so sure people care about the socialist angle as much as conservatives think. You guys call practically all liberals socialists anyway, so it kind of takes on "boy cries wolf" issue. Maybe that's why voters didn't mind a self-described socialist ousting the Republican majority whip in Virginia last year.

A number of state senate elections.

He was appointed to his current seat. He won two State Senate elections. One in 1996 and one in 2000. His last winning election campaign was thus 18 years ago.

Northern Virginia is totally different then the Seattle suburbs and pierce county suburbs and then a bit of central Washington. Need I mention that in 2006 the dems were meant to pick up WA-8 then it didn’t happen same with 2008. Dino Rossi in 2010 won the Old WA-8 which was at least a few points more democrat by 10 points.

and it wasn't rigged against Franken. Dems should be able to at least have recounts if pubs viciously support the vote

The only races I’m confident were rigged are MN Senate 2008 and WA GOV 2004.

It’s nit that I don’t support recounts but Washington held two counts where Dino Rossi won then on the third count ballots from king county magically showed up.
