I don't know if I'm posting in the right place, but Fuzzy has my total permission to put my maps on Wikipedia.

Thanks!

btw for those who don't know, I put some of Shilly's maps on Wikipedia and credited him.  However, since there wasn't a statement of permission before, those maps are now being treated as if they infringed copyright rules, and are in danger of being deleted.  Now things should be better.

Georgia:

A special thank you goes out to Adam Griffin for getting me the map template, and Daily Kos for the election data used to create this map!

Iowa:

Thank you to Daily Kos for the election data.

This map is great for what it tells you that isn't so obvious in a county map: the importance to the Dems of the high margins they get in the urban areas scattered around the state, while also relying on a significant portion of the state's rural areas mainly in the east.

Illinois would be fascinating, although I know that our data can be difficult to consolidate.

What a coincidence, Illinois was next on my list!  And Daily Kos has all the election data for it already, all we need is a map.

That's 13 states down.  We'll likely have another map up relatively soon.

^ There are two Romney/Dem Senate seats (SDs 12 and 28). There are just over a dozen House seats, mostly in Acadiana.

Who wouldn't look at your maps? The same goes to Fuzzy, Miles, Griffin, and everyone else who makes these sort of things! Smiley

I'm surprised how relatively non-Republican rural Berks county is.

Berks has well over 400,000 people though Tongue
