If Cathy Myers won, or kept it in too close to call territory, I was going to switch to an S-MD avatar in protest.

Just some comparisons on fully-reported WI counties:

2016 Presidential vs 2018 Primary (margin):
Door: GOP +3 / DEM +10
Fond du Lac: GOP +26 / GOP +36
Walworth: GOP +20 / GOP +18

Door tends to be a bellwether.

I disagree, I prefer hofoid. I don't recall him routinely giving predictions that were 10-50 points too Republican friendly then refusing to learn anything from it. Also, unlike Andrew, he at least seems to genuinely believe some of the crap he says.

Things must be worse than I thought if we're at the point where we are discussing which concern trolls are best for Atlas Tongue

Is anyone going to make the case for King Lear? Tongue

Zero chance. She needed to win the Twin Cities to have a chance, and Walz has won the Twin Cities. Murphy is also placing third in most of rural MN.

I feel like Omar is the only real downside of the night. Everything else is great.

Technically, she won the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul), she just lost the county of Hennepin by a small margin.

Per NYT, 43% of the vote is in with only 20 precincts left in WOW.  Dems down by only 10K votes total.  Dane hasn't even reported yet.  Whooosh what a night.

County Clerk's Facebook Page

Based on the figures there, Dane alone has 100k Dem primary votes waiting to show up; GOP 20k. That's a 80k vote net gain waiting for Dems statewide.

Another progressive maybe-victory: Radinovich is looking very, very good in MN-08.

Minnesota D-GOV could end up being a cool map if Swanson pretty much sweeps the northern counties and Walz continues to dominate down South with Ramsey being the only Murphy county.

Excellent result tactically. A good candidate that isn't a radical environmentalist should be all it takes to hold the seat, which Radinovich is. Hell even in 2014 we still did well downballot in MN-08.

He's the incumbent Senator and he's unopposed in tonight's primary so I would think so.
