I believe Giuliani just said that there are two words that define this election: Change and the economy.

Wow.

Only 15% voted for experience in SC, with Change getting 53% of the vote. /win

There is no word in the political vocabulary more meaningless than "change".

I hope the media will treat it that way... The reason Obama rose so much from Iowa was the media's coverage of the event. If this is considered a resounding win, perhaps the media will stop with the "Clinton is unstoppable" meme.

Does this qualify as a "convincing victory"? Seriously, it's possible that tonight's win could close the CA gap to single digits.

This does indeed qualify as a convincing victory.  I think it will help him in the polls in all Super Tuesday states, not just California.

It probably also helps him a lot in the February 9 state of Louisiana, for example.  Its about time for the candidates of both parties, especially the Democrats, to start looking beyond Super Tuesday as the race will still be going on.

81% in, still 54-27-19. Obama's just below double Clinton right now.

12%-14% of the margin, but the rest is.

MSNBC is all about Obama currently, besides Mr.Buchannanface who is in his own world currently.

It looks like Clinton will probably carry Horry County (Myrtle Beach) and nothing else.

One of 46 counties.

Ouch.

CNN is spinning this pro-Obama when a bunch of people expected them to do the opposite.  and CNN usually has their head far up Hillary's ass too, so it's interesting, to say the least.

or maybe it's just too hard to spin a 27% loss positively.

Edwards won Oconee County (his home county), so Obama gets the other 44 counties unless something changes radically somewhere.

Caroline Kennedy's op-ed in the NYT endorsing Obama is called, "A President like my father."

That is a moving phrase among Democrats. And it's guaranteed to make Bill wipe his ass with tomorrow's NYT.

I don't see how this can be classified as anything but a convincing win.

I also don't see how this helps with Hispanics and Catholic voters.

Just two cents.

Isn't that some sort of logical fallacy?

But what do you mean by "change"? What do they mean by "change"?

I hate Pat Buchannan, but I think he's right here.  It was a victory, but not as big as it would be it the electorate was 20% Black.

That was what I meant; I was responding to Alcon, who said Clinton won 1/46. South Carolina has 46 counties.
