About this Poll

Filtering: 1,000 Virginia adults were interviewed by SurveyUSA 09/01/09 through 09/03/09. Of them, 892 were registered to vote. Of them, 611 were determined by SurveyUSA to be likely to vote in the November general election. Incumbent Democratic Governor Tim Kaine is term limited; Incumbent Republican Attorney General Bill Mims was appointed to the seat by the Virginia General Assembly in February 2009, when Bob McDonnell resigned to campaign full-time for Governor, and is not seeking election to the office.
