ARD exit poll:

CDU:   37.5%
SPD:    23.5%
FDP:    16.0%
Greens:    14.0%
Left:   5.1%

Pretty much what I was expecting.

Let's wait for the counting. 1 year ago I think that the first exit poll showed the SPD ahead by 1, but after all votes were counted, the CDU pulled slightly ahead.

Yay Franzl, your CDU-Woman is interviewed ... Wink

still, even if the CDU gained a percent or two, it'd still be less than many expected.

I'm thrilled with the FDP result, though.

Frankfurt III. Grew up in V.

Okay... things to look out for for us nerds:

Change of CDU/FDP combined vote versus 2003.
Where the FDP voters are, exactly
Green vote; change on 2003.
Vote splitting
Turnout, esp. localised... I just walked pust my precinct, ambled in and asked the good people at the count how many had voted. 462. I *think* that's pretty bad.

2009 vs 2008.

Just kidding. All I'm getting is a dead link. And I needed that for the indirect 2003 comparison.

45 of 101 precincts counted in Frankfurt VI:

Osterburg (CDU) - 41.6%
Ypsilanti (SPD) - 22.8%

Actually, the CDU candidates are leading in all of Frankfurts districts right now ...

CDU 101 22,2%

SPD 117 25,8%

FDP 76 16,7%

Greens 101 22,2%
