I agree with you my fellow PA Democrat. Homosexuality is not natural and it could possibly be considered a disease. It is not normal. I admit that I feel bad for gay people because of how they are treated but you also have to consider that no one would know they were gay if they didnt act so weird all the time carrying purses and flapping their hands at you.

If Thompson could run for the Senate and win, I think it's time for Republicans to start thinking about taking over the Senate. Lincoln might switch sides, and even if she doesn't, she'll either be defeated or be a help to Republicans in the Senate. Would Lieberman side with Republicans over Democrats? Possibly. And realistically now, it is not mathematically impossible for us to win. We can have a 50 majority if Hoevan runs in ND and if we win NV, CO, MO, IL, OH, PA, AR, DE, CT, WI, NH, and NY(S). That'd give us 50 seats, and if Lieberman sided with us, 51. Either way, we'll at least make it unpleasant for Obama.

I hate to be overenthusiastic, but I actually think there could be a realistic shot of Republicans controlling both chambers after 2010, and I'm starting to think taking over the Senate might be easier.

^ to be perfectly honest, I wasn't initially sure if that post was for real, so I made a 50% effort at revising my initial response to include some half hearted attempts at smiley faces, just in case I was trippin'  and couldn't detect sarcasm or some key word.

It makes me feel pathetic when I act like a pathetic Republican hack and everyone actually believes me.
Thompson probably won't run, and if he does, he probably won't win. Hoevan isn't even running in ND. Lincoln isn't in that bad of shape, and would get crushed if she ran as a Republican in the primaries. Illinois is an extreme longshot, and Obama will probably campaign there. The rest are winnable, though the chances of Republicans winning all of them are very low.

I do think Republicans will make gains in the Senate. Same in the House. Just not enough to take over.

[""The people of NY-23 deserve to have their ballots counted properly, but we can't let ACORN or the unions keep that from happening. They have more lawyers and more experience tampering with democracy," he wrote.

"We need to make sure that fair elections are a reality in NY-23, just like our Founding Fathers envisioned. So long as we remain the "land of the free," we MUST ensure every vote is counted. Help us today so we may be the first of many conservative victories during the Obama Regime."

I thought it was funny because CARLHAYDEN actually used the quote function.

Greatest post of all time

I've never read a single page of any "Twilight" book nor seen a single clip from its movies. And I have no desire to do so in the foreseeable future.

Considering this forum is like 99% male, why is this even a discussion topic here?

The Sexuality Matrix Test is producing some wildly oscillating results today:

I was confused. Now i'm not, I'll admit I'm Bi. I'm not gay though.

But $7,788 to $10,302? Please, my annual high school tuition cost more than that.

Taking responsibility for my own finances rather than leeching off the taxpayer is so horrible of me.

Fail.

Don't worry move back to the Dirty South will occur in a few days.  Frankly I cannot wait, we have some real opposition to fight.  First things first I will start a recall petition of Xahar if no one else does and we have to restore Dirty South as the official name of the region.  We cannot allow a few bad apples to bastardize our region because we had bad turnout one election.  Remember this is where it all began and its time we take it back

TAKE BACK THE DIRTY SOUTH 12/09!!

I know its a tad early, but we are in Thanksgiving week, which means we are 96 hours from the Christmas Shopping Season officially beginning and talk will also start turning to New Year's Eve and Opening Night 2010.  This New Year's Eve will lead into the second decade of the 21st century, so its not just any other New Year's Eve, but do you have any plans, yet?

As for me, I've got two ideas I'm pondering.  I could do my yearly ritual and stay home and watch Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest on ABC.  The second option, which is the one I'm leaning toward, is finding some friends and go to our Opening Night 2010 program and festivities in Downtown Oklahoma City where the center point is just 4-6 blocks from work.  Incidentally, we do something different, our ball actually rises to the new year on the final minute of the year.  If I do go to Opening Night, I could probably just stay there after I get off work at 4:30, even though the concerts don't start until 7:00 and leave when its all over at 12:15 am, since I will already be in a parking garage and would only have to deal with the traffic on the way home.  Or, if they don't allow us to wear jeans at work, then i could come home real quick and change and get a bite to eat and then get back up there by 6:00.  I'll just have to wait and see if I can find friends either from work or from my OKC pool of facebook friends.

It's so BushOK.
