Camden, Mercer and Salem will cast less than 10,000 votes between them. They're irrelevant. Burlington is a pretty big question mark. The others should be Lonegan strongholds.

Lonegan could do well in Bergen (definitely), Sussex, and Warren.

He'll get trounced in Burlington. No one lives in Salem, so who cares?  Smiley

Can't see Lonegan winning Burlington. Just can't.

I was kind of taking the default being a moderate Christie victory because we're clearly looking at Christie winning 53-55% of the statewide vote at this point.

Christie gained in a recent infusion of votes from Passaic, now leading 52-46 there. He also retook the lead in Atlantic.

Retook? He was trailing? By how much? What percentage of precincts are in there?

He trailed by less than a percent when there were about 50/163 precincts in. There are now 97/163 precincts in. Not a big surprise. The Republican organization in Atlantic is really weak, but there are still a lot of Republicans in the county (obviously outvoted by Atlantic City/Pleasantville anyway, though).

Lonegan's many signs on Route 40 had to help him in the county.

The AC GOP isn't "really weak." They're having some problems but they are not struggling that badly. Their organization was pushing Christie like crazy. He totally destroyed Lonegan and Merkt at their convention. The fact that Christie doesn't have a convincing win there is not good for Christie.

And Absecon is a Republican city, for the record.  Tongue  I know a good deal about AC and the GOP down there because I have a friend from Absecon involved in the party.

These results are taking for-freaking-ever. At least Virginia will be over next week by the time I go to bed.

NJ is an absolute disaster is every way. We should have had basically everything in by now but we're not even at 50%!

Christie is winning Bergen. It's over.

A couple of questions for you:

A.  Are "early votes" (once called absentee votes) counted first, included with precinct returns, or counted latter?  That is to say, are they included in the returns we are seeing?

B.  What number of votes do you estimate the Republican "organization" in New Jersey has supplied to Christie?  According to my estimates the (paltry) number is likely to exceed the margin between Christie (the country clubber) and Lonegean (the conservative).

Mr. Moderate. My understanding is that Doherty is a pretty extreme conservative. I realize that district 23 is pretty Republican, but will he have trouble in the general?

This Lonegan guy is such a fruit.

Chris Cristie was the united conservative-moderate candidate against fucktarddom.

And his supporters.... geez.
