I have no idea where to put this, so I'm putting it here.  In looking over the current platform, I see a couple of things that I disagree with.  As such, if it is in order (yeah, I know, the convention ended a while ago, LOL), I propose the following platform amendments. I hereby motion to expel Oakvale, on the grounds that he has never done anything other than try to screw people over and screw Atlasia over. He has never shown any support for a "more welcoming Atlasia" or anything "responsible" or "Federalist." The fact that he's been endorsed by prominent Federalists is still shocking to me, and I can't support a party that supports people so hostile to the game, so hostile to members of the party (such as Yankee who he has basically ran a propaganda campaign against for multiple years now), and so hostile to the values this party should be centered around.

Him or me. Your call, guys.

Anyways, this is not going to fly with me. We are not a party who would ever expel anyone unless they are truly in the process of damaging the party or have already harmed it substantially. Oakvale has done neither of those things since joining the party, which is the resume on which he should be judged by. I admit I am not some innocent person and I don't think anyone here can claim so either, I don't think I have any right to stand here judging anyone else on their merits either. Therefore, I stand strongly opposed to this expulsion measure, it it true that Oakvale could be a lot nicer in his campaign thread, but those who attack people in a campaign thread should also be prepared to be attacked back, in my opinion. Also, I hate being presented with a "him or me" choice, it's stupid and just makes me stay in my position even more so. If we are to prove that we are the better party in any circumstance, we should not attempt to expel people who have done nothing wrong since joining the party. If Oakvale had actually done anything to attempt to damage the party, then I would support and/or even propose this measure. But he has done nothing wrong and this is nothing short of a witch hunt. Should this reach a vote, I ask everyone to vote NO (or nay if that's your preferred format).

You know good and well that is not my reasoning, and please don't try to act like it is.

And I really really hope you guys change your mind, because I value being in the Federalist Party (this is why I didn't simply leave, and why I discussed this at length with all of you privately to try to find another solution). But the Federalist Party I know not in a party that just supports any anti-Atlasian asshole who happens to be "anti-socialist" or whatever, even though the only times he has cared about Atlasia has been to screw someone over--and he's not our ally because sometimes he happens to try to screw over Truman, too.
