Is Mills considered a strong enough candidate? I was under the impression that Cote was a much more promising potential nominee but I could be wrong.

There's still a small chance he could make a runoff, but that would probably just lead to an even more crushing defeat due to Trump's endorsement. So yeah, one way or the other...toast. Good riddance!

Disgusting, Virginia.  Stewart is a racist and should be forcibly removed from the GOP.

The problem is that there is barely any infrastructure or leadership in the Virginia GOP for the past decade.

Between the lack of leadership and the fact that candidates used to be selected by conventions, the inmates are running the asylum.

ExtremeConservative is officially more moderate and reasonable than the typical NoVa Republican.

Young Republicans usually don’t like the blow up the damn system. You can see this through their majority support of Rubio and other mainstream conservatives. Older people, who usually vote in primaries, are like “Let’s go trigger them libs”. I saw a lot of older VA conservatives on twitter saying: “Well, we like Freitas, but Stewart he’s won in NoVA before so he can win.” Republican primary voters aren’t your brightest political experts.

It's good that EC is willing to say this.  He's a counter example to the popular meme that all Republicans are racists.

GOP still below 60% in the two-party vote in SC with three-quarters in; anybody know how much (if any) of a counting bias the state has?

I'm really thinking the NRSC will triage the VA senate race at some point or another to focus on other states,  along with PA.

Corey Stewart and Lou Barletta.....wow, great job Republicans!

I remember from the presidential elections that South Carolina is very democratic at the beginning of the night.

Can someone tell me if Lewiston or Auburn have reported anything? Those should be strong Golden territories

Nope, nothing from either.
