Only 13 votes in NC? I expected that to be much higher after some very good turnouts just a bit earlier. See the link at the bottom if you missed that. For now, UNC is on the map.
In the Great West, we have 8 smaller schools with wonderful football tradition or recent history, 1 superb hockey powerhouse (UND), and 1 that doesn't have much at all (Idaho). Probably comes down to Boise and the Bizon. While you're at it, feel free to have some discussion on what you think the UND nickname ought to be. Personally, I'm conflicted between the University of North Dakota Bush Did 9/11's and the UND Fighting Sioux - both sadly on the non-consideration list. Hysterically, 2%ers is still under consideration ("Because at UND the opinion of 2% of the people control what everyone else MUST feel.")
[1] Wyoming - I don't have a "favorite" FBS team, but I do have a ton of Wyoming gear and watch all their games so they're in the running. They're my video game team always. And we stole Craig Bohl from #2 -
[2] North Dakota State - I can't think of a more lovable dynasty in the history of sports. The work ethic and fanbase are great treasures of college sports. I won't be rooting for the 5-peat until my school is eliminated, but if we actually have a healthy QB in the playoffs this time, this is the likely title match-up for us. I'm trembling, and it's only June.
[3] Montana State
[4] Montana - Bozeman is objectively the better football town, but I gotta put the Bobcats a tick higher personally. Montana fans are srsly obnoxious.

[5] South Dakota State - I like them for now as a compliment to the NDSU football rivalry
[6] UND - Hockey is nice, but they may want to pick up another sport to compete with the dominant in-state rival. Also, they might want to pick up a nickname. For your entertainment, it's somewhere on
this list and its most definitely not on
this list--
[7] South Dakota - The lame little brother of SDSU in every sport. Vermillion is supposedly a good college town though.
