Dems have a 52K vote lead now that Dane just took a big dump in the vote totals.  And we haven't even gotten the three northernmost counties or all of the Driftless in yet.

56% of Dane precincts finally reported its results online:

WI, Statewide:
DEM 321,269 (54.39%)
GOP 269,393 (45.61%)

There's another 30-40k net votes for Democrats coming out of Dane when all is said and done.

Is the Vermont GOP seriously about to nominate the same person for literally every statewide office besides Governor? LOL. How is that even possible?

Nicholson didn't get what he needed from Dane, not that there was much there to begin with. He's done.

Ozaukee's fully reported and its primary ballot margin is pretty close to the 2016 presidential: GOP +18 in 2016 versus GOP +22 tonight. Not good for GOP!

Also, Douglas, Eau Claire and Green are all two-thirds Democratic.

Apparently yes, though SEN R remains too close to call.

That person says he filed mainly so that he could step down and allow a nominating convention (since parties are only allowed to do that if they had a candidate to begin with) to prevent Democrats from running unopposed as opposed to actually staying in and trying to compete in all these races. How he expects them to find candidates then when they were unable to before the primary is a mystery.

Litchfield, CT matching Trump's 2016 margin, but everywhere else in the state, Democrats are doing much better.

With Margaret Engebretson leading in her WI-07 primary, it seems that Democrats who are Daily Kos users in contested primaries in Wisconsin are going 2-0.

So turnout for Republicans tonight is appearing to look like this so far:

Vermont: Pretty good
Wisconsin: On the bad side of mediocre
Connecticut:  Pretty bad

So now Jeff Johnson moves onto the general election, where he will proceed to lose as bad or worse than his failed 2014 challenge to Dayton.
