Any reason why Kansas hasn't been called, yet?  Are there caucuses still going on?

There are MASSIVE lines in Wichita that have not yet even begun to caucus yet

Oh ok, I figured that had to be the reason.  All these scattered times for all the states have me quite confused...  Thanks!

There are just way too many people wanting to caucus so the lines are ridiculously large.

It's amazing how this primary seasons seems to be East vs West.

Union vs Confederacy*

Have you looked at any maps of this primary at all?

To be fair, Trumps worst states have been outside of the South. Yes, MA was an anomaly, but I think he would have lost NH if it was just 3/4 candidates and Cruz has beat him in the Plains.

He has not won in the Midwest either.

He's won every state in the Northeast so far, and Cruz has won Texas. Definitely not a Union vs. Confederacy thing.

CNN reporting 'whopping' turnout in KS....places are running out of registration ballots.

Turnout in KY so massive they started counting early.

Republicans have no excuse for losing in November.

Kansas Cruz 50.3% Trump 24.5% with 12.3% reporting. Makes me wonder if I'm reading it right. BTW I love how you spelled the plural of "caucus". :-) http://www.politico.com/2016-election/results/map/president

Stop it! We all know that only uneducated, racist Southern rednecks support Trump!

Also if the logic is Rubio+Kasich+Bush+Christie>Trump in New Hampshire, then Trump also "lost" South Carolina and Virginia. Also, there's Nevada.

Eastern precincts might make Cruz's margin narrow a bit, but it looks like Cruz has got this.

Cruz may have a big day today. Winning in KS, perhaps some surprises in KY and ME too. Have to wonder if anything has changed after the debate...or perhaps Trumps Super Tuesday win has motivated more people to get out and fight him.

People heeding Romney's advice to vote strategically, perhaps?

This makes absolutely no sense considering how poorly Cruz has done in New England...but Maine is 'special' in so many ways.

No.  But I think they said they were counting something like 2000 ballots.

I'm not surprised to see Cruz do so well in Kansas. It's a caucus and Plains evangelical is different from the Deep South strain.

Turnout up 100% in KS per CNN on the Republican side (relative to 2012).

Looks like Cruz has won every county that has reported until now.
Hard to see how he loses.

Again, caucus times in Maine varied by caucus location.  Some locations held caucuses in the morning or early afternoon and have already closed.  The latest caucus closing time is 7PM, not 8.
