Biden destroyed Ryan. I don't think a vp debate matters all that much, but I'm very pleased with how it all went down.

Biden had one mission tonight -to stop the bleeding from the first debate.  That mission has been accomplished, IMO.  It's up to President Obama to determine in the second debate whether he could restore the pre-Columbus Day status quo in the campaign.

But 71% said Biden did better than they thought and 55% said Ryan did worse than they thought.

I can't stand watching these people. If you're undecided now you are not going to have much to say.

Biden was better at understanding average people.

Ryan was better for for vision.

And apparently all the undecided women in this country have butch lesbian haircuts.

If Biden's mission was to act like Cesar Romero's the Joker he achieved his goal without much difficulty.

Biden at 55% for understanding average people.

Ryan at 71% for vision.

I've always disliked the term vision when it comes to politics. Makes it sound like you see things that aren't actually there... but might be apt here...

CNN + Focus group + undecideds = probably idiots -> implies -> I don't care what they think, they might not be able to find their way home.

Izixs, my numbers were wrong, and I corrected it.

Relatively good.  The poll was closer compared to CNN's after the last debate.

Undecideds are generally idiots. Especially undecideds who are so self-important about and proud of their inability to make a simple decision that they volunteer to join these f[inks]ing focus groups so the country can listen to their uninformed, nonsensical opinions.

Didn't the instant "snap poll" last time actually come out as a near-tie or something?  I recall that there was an instant poll and then some kind of follow-up poll, and the latter reflected the narrative more.  I may be wrong.

edit: I think I may be wrong...not sure what I'm remembering.

All of the snap polls last time showed Obama losing big.

CNN's Post-Debate Poll shows voters think Ryan won 48-44.  I would have put it the other way around, but interesting.

Last time,
CBS was 46 Romney, 22 Obama
CNN was 67 Romney, 25 Obama

Time this,
CBS was 50 Biden, 31 Ryan
CNN was 48 Ryan, 44 Biden

CNN is consistently more GOP than CBS...

Well, they still average to a Biden win. Obviously not a game changer, but could help Obama a bit.
