As expected, turnout is reported to be light by news channels in MS. However, MS-03 seems to have somewhat better turnout than at least 02 which is no surprise to me given how crowded the GOP primary for Harper’s seat is.

I just got back from voting. I voted for Brian Goldberg in the NJ Senate primary and Seth Grossman in the NJ-2 House primary.

...Why? Why would you vote for Brian Goldberg over Bob Hugin? Hugin is actually a fairly good (but somewhat flawed) recruit.

I am more ideologically aligned with Goldberg, and Menendez is going to win no matter who the Republican nominee is anyway. It's New Jersey.

California elections are a disgrace, if any of the races are even somewhat close we won't know the results for at least a couple weeks

Allowing everyone the opportunity to vote and being flexible about it is more important then the count being quick.

Poll closing times for today's primaries:
8 PM. ET – Alabama, Mississippi, New Jersey
9 PM ET – Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota
10 PM ET – Iowa
11 PM ET – California

Is Whit Hughes still likely to win in Mississippi?  I wouldn't mind one of those business oriented Republicans in that district to bring a minor league soccer team (USL) to Jackson, Mississippi.

The worst Democrat in the Senate deserves a closer than expected race here.
