I thought Cherryfield was probably some small town at the very top of the State, near the Canada border. But it's location doesn't seem too far from Augusta.
It's two-and-a-half hours away from Augusta, so it'd take nearly five hours to retrieve the ballots and bring them back. I'm assuming they left at 11:45 (right before the first tweets about this were sent), so they should be on their way back now.

You're right on the money:

This small town has a population of about 1,200 people.
How could there only be 10 ballots? That is a pitiful vote total for this community. (Or am I missing something about this entire story of "10 ballots"?)

Crap, they'd better hurry up and count before the court can hand down a ruling

There's not many to go. They might just edge out the court.

Which means they'll probably give us the final count sometime around Thanksgiving because it's Maine

I would have said so too, but it looks like they've finally got their act together.

Excellent news. Glad they’ll let the votes be counted, and that they hushed up Poliquin.

I was actually wrong, they were ballots from the unorganized portion of Washington County whose voters’ polling place is in Cherryfield.

This one feels good. While it was close, it's another Obama/Trump district that was supposed to be "gone" for Democrats. While a 1% win doesn't suggest that it's going to be as Democratic as it was in 2008-2012, it certainly doesn't suggest that it will be "Safe R" from here on out.

So where can he go from here? Didn't he just lose his court case and wasn't it declared constitutional for House races?
