Should we just swear McCain in now instead of January just to speed things up?

New magic number is 2117. Obama needs 64 to clinch.

The nomination should be over on Wednesday or Thursday of this coming week, thank god. The Clinton team of Harold Wolfson, Mark Penn, Harold Ickes and Terry McAuliffe can finally climb back into the hole they came out of.

Why does Obama get any delegates in Michigan?  No one voted for him there.

But, I am sure if they could have they would have.  We all know how the democrats love to divine the intend of the voters.

"Should" is the key word there.

It was a "Soviet-style" Clinton win.

Still the possibility of an attempt to seat them fully.  Credentials committee and the floor.

Is there any realistic chance that Clinton will keep this thing going all the way to the convention, or do you all think she giving up next week?

Yeah, the Obama team (as well as the Edwards team) did a horrible thing by following the rules and request of the DNC. They did exactly what where were supposed to do.

They followed the request of the DNC, not the rules of the DNC.  Important distinction.

I'm really curious to find out what the hell these Clinton fanatics who want to take it to Denver are going to do when she drops out within the next week.

It was a voluntary request by the DNC.

I don't think she will go to the convention, but it's possible.

However, is there any chance that Clinton will "suspend" her campaign after June 3rd, not really campaign during the summer too much, but then take it to the credentials committee?
