In the past was a bog-standard American liberal (with all that that entails). I don't know if he has changed or not.

Sorry about that. I don't know why I attributed that to you in the first place. Possibly a brain fart on my part.

Going from what I've seen, a solid center-left American liberal. Nothing extreme about him that I know of.

No, I think that I'm in the right party, especially when you take my P.M. scores into consideration. There are many Republicans who like Clinton, and share a lot of political views with him.

Though clearly conservative unlike many who hold the mantle, a Yankee Republican who sees the world through a unique lens often focused on equality. Oldiesfreak is a bit like a time warp to the Republicans of a century ago, or at least sees himself that way.

TJ is one of the few American conservatives who are conservative in the actual meaning of the term rather than being right-wing liberal who occasionally espouse social conservatism and nativism. As a result his ideology is one that emphasizes certain social issues-most importantly abortion and while suspicious of governmental intrusion into the economy, nonetheless recognizes that seeing individuals as simply free agents in the market rather than the member of a social community is an unrealistic and harmful view, thus allowing for some social welfare programs and economic regulation. Were the Democratic Party somewhat less focused on social issues or were he a bit more to the left economically, he could easily wear a red avatar like Nathan or Miles.

A center-leftist with a hawkish foreign policy and a conservative view on some social issues, such as abortion.

Pretty typical libertarian, but his neocon views won't gain him very much favors among that crowd...

(By the way guys, thanks for skipping me last time Wink)

IceSpear is a mainstream American liberal. He's more honest and less given to triangulating than most Democratic politicians but his positions for the most part remain roughly around the leftward edge of the sweet spot of Democratic Party orthodoxy.

Nathan would be considered by many in the modern Democratic Party to be a "cultural conservative" both in terms of social political views and, to a much lesser extent, religious identity.  However, his shameless brand of socialism and populist attitude toward class issues make him an unabashed leftist and even, in most respects, to the left of the Democratic Party at large.

Scott is a libertarian liberal that's center-left on fiscal issues. He normally supports a smaller government in the form of protecting individual liberties and privacy rights and has a strong, Christian influence.

Adam is a liberal that focuses more of his energy on social issues. He notably is strongly against drugs of all kinds, however, which sets him apart from many of his ideological peers.
