Seems fitting. I doubt Roy Moore holds much power of persuasion over Missouri Republican voters, though.

Why Republicans consistently ruin their efforts to defeat McCaskill is beyond me. If McCaskill wins, I don't want to hear any republican spin about "MUH BLUE WAVE" or "MUH UNFAIR CAMPAIGN". Hawley was handed a gimme R win race and has managed to turn it into a near-Toss-Up through his terrible ethics and campaign.

The filing deadline is tomorrow. I'm starting to doubt Wagner runs.

It’s not worth the money. These optics are horrible.

I can’t imagine any gettable Missouri voter is going to be swayed by something small like this, particularly when the current President lies about his relation with diplomats at a fundraiser for Harley doody

It absolutely sways people when McCaskill banks on reducing GOP rural margins to win.

Given that a whopping 128,000 people are donating money to Mccaskill in just 3 months, it's clear she has genuine grassroots support.

Over half of that is from ActBlue. I would be surprised is the majority of those are Missourians.

A fair point, though I imagine it’s a similar case for Hawley, too.

Hawley seems to finally care about holding Greitens to account. I wonder whether he’ll be able to use that in November to indicate a degree of political independence, and swing voters towards him, or whether McCaskill will be able to tie the two of them together and sink Hawley along with Greitens.

*This all depends on whether the MO GOP can get Greitens to leave office quietly, and present a united front going into November. If Greitens has to be impeached, and state reps and senators go on the record either for or against the Governor, I can imagine the infighting giving McCaskill a clear path.

Yeah I think after this whole thing goes through, Hawley will be leading McCaskill by 2 instead of losing by 1. He's showing good leadership here and voters will like that. I certainly didn't expect Hawley to attack Erotic Eric.

Was about to post this.

It'll probably help Hawley...

It was also probably designed to help Hawley.

Maybe this was the deal he made with the State GOP in order to stay in office?

There's no way he's surviving this - too much mud, and the state legislature was never on good terms with their governor in the first place. More likely is some organization like the GOP senate campaign team told him to do this to help out the team over anything else.

I don’t see how it helps. Not that I think it hurts much either, mind.
