8% in

Truax is leading Oberweis in the Senate primary. 52-48

Rauner - 47
Dillard - 36
Brady - 12
Rutherford - 5

Oberweis' strength is greatest away from Chicago where he benefits from his name ID. Also the Chicago media hit Oberweis this last week for spending a few days in Florida for his wife's birthday.

CD-13 should be geographically polarized, so probably best to wait until more comes in.

I know it is early, but Davis is really under-preforming so far.  He's actually trailing in McLean County (Bloomington-Normal).

On the R side:

Veteran Larry Kaifesh has been declared the winner of the GOP IL-08 primary, and will face Tammy Duckworth in November.

In the rat race that is the IL-11 GOP primary, it's very close

State Rep. Darlene Sanger - 36%
Grundy Co. Board Member Chris Balkema - 34%
Businessman Bert Miller - 26%

I'd like to thank the Democratic primary voters of IL-13, because Ann Callis has been declared the victor. Gollin only has a plurality in his base of Champaign County, while Callis has a majority everywhere else. Thanks for not throwing this race away Smiley

Davis, meanwhile, still only has a lackluster 56% of the vote against Harold's 39%.

Darlene Senger still leads the IL-11 primary, 37-33-26-4

In IL-13, despite losing, Erika Harold led Rodney Davis by a 70-28% margin.

EDIT: In Champaign-Urbana

This lady won the GOP Primary in IL-09.

I don't see a way that Schakowsky didn't mobilize people to get this lady nominated.

To be fair, in that district it really doesn't. This isn't some downstate loony Republican area that supports this type of candidate. She was able to win because the GOP's organizational strength in Evanston and on the far north side no longer exist.
