At this rate, Maryland might be called before D.C.

MSNBC called DC, and I think FOX did, too. Just CNN didn't.

Damn CNN, waiting for actual numbers to call the inevitable.

They don't want to have to pull the projection back.  Obama will murder Hillary here, but that is their policy after the embarrassment with Florida in 2000.

West Virginia is probably the most racist state in the country

I doubt it. Not much point in hating blacks when there aren't any where you live.

You'd be surprised. Very surprised. I would assert that whites in West Virginia are more racist than whites in Alabama or Mississippi.

And I would then call you an idiot.

Come on guys don't be bitter about West Virginia being against Obama. It is one of the most Economic Leftist states in the country. The Republicans have just misled them. These are the people we are kinda fighting for.

I am not bitter about them not supporting Obama. You are simply ignoring reality.
West Virginians might be a little rascist, but why be against them, if by voting Democratic these are the people you would be helping the most?(well not really, but in theory they should be getting help)

Have I said anything against West Virginians? No, I just asserted their biases, all of which are true.

What's the current results?

I would find out myself but I'm at school and we have a slow server here.

CBS has Obama 1190, Clinton 1159.
Of course Obama has more of a lead with just pledged delegates.

Thanks Alcon. I can say I'm not surprised that Obama has a convincing lead in Virginia. And I also wouldn't be surprised if he does win DC and MD by big margins over Hillary too.

Anyone know how the Latte Liberals are voting in this primary? I heard that term quite a bit on FOX News and CNN yesterday.

Um... did Clinton just say that Texas grows energy crops to make into biofuel? In El Paso? What? Last I checked, we didn't grow a lot of switchgrass or corn.

Again, the fact that Virginia wasn't called for 2 hours seems to refute that.

Working class, rural-to-small-town, white. Mining towns in the west, old textile towns in the east. One of the strongest areas for non-segregationist candidates back in the bad old days. Marked tendency to vote against what/who the rest of the state votes for. Historically Republican in parts.

Fair enough but after Super Tuesday, you guys ought to be beating us.

Just because it was fairly close doesn't mean turnout was high.
