If Lee is up 13 in a sample that only has Trump at +4 in a state he won by 26, Lee is totally safe.  Remember that TN polling only had Trump up 10-12 before the election and he won by 26.

Imagine living in a state where Marsha Blackburn has a +10 favorability rating. I feel so sorry for progressives living in red states.

You realize Pennsylvania is a red state, right?

Pretty easy to determine.
From what I gathered on this forum, if you're a woman and/or a person of color and/or from the coast, you're a smug, liberal, elitist.

And even at that, there are still several users on this forum who assume that if you talk about an issue that uniquely affects women and/or non-white people you're ignoring the needs of "all working class people."

And there's just no way that any of the left parties will cooperate with SD at all, which means it's a foregone conclusion that the right side of the spectrum will win the election overwhelmingly (Alliance + SD), with something like a 15-20% margin over the three left parties.
Well, that's nothing new. Alliance + SD had a comfortable majority in 2014 too, but the Alliance still decided to squander it and allow the Red-Greens to completely ravage the country because of the SD scare. I suppose M won't allow this to happen again (never underestimate the center-right's lack of a backbone though), but an S-led government still seems like a real possibility to me. If the Red-Greens become bigger than the Alliance and S has something like a 5-point lead over M, which are both extremely likely, S may want to take the initiative to form a government.

Even if S does become the largest party, it will be really hard for them to claim legitimacy in order to form a government when their share of the vote will be the lowest they've registered in the ballot box since at least 1911, possible even further back than that.

My preferred government would be a majority one involving the three left parties plus liberal Folkpartiet, plus I guess either Centern or KD, though I really wouldn't mind a big coalition one in the spirit of Germany and The Netherlands involving Social Democrats and the Moderates, as long as the Moderate Party doesn't become the largest one. As we know from Norway and almost all other countries in the world, a modern day government lead by a conservative party means extreme slashing of taxes for the rich and as a result an enormous increase in the gap between rich and poor in the population overall. Basically a crime against humanity if you ask me, and a completely irresponsible policy idea.

The scripture Fuzzy Bear are describing what written by people who wanted to use it to trick people into falling for a scam in which the people who wrote it would benefit. Nothing in it is actually real.

We should ban Fuzzy Bear, and let ProudModerate2 stay.

TM has said for a while that Carol Miller will win comfortably, possibly by double-digits. Trump is going to do a lot of campaigning and he's going to focus on states he is popular, he'll be making multiple trips to West Virginia and will help drag her across the finish line.

Why is there anything to explain lol. A low turnout special election does not resemble the electorate of a midterm, and the reason that the special itself was so close was because the Democrat ran a progressive campaign that appealed to the base, something Sinema is not doing.

Describing the AZ-08 special as "low turnout". LOL!

Both of them are overblown. In the first case, he was making an empirical statement about what it's like to be a billionaire celebrity like him. You either agree or disagree, but none of us has the personal experience to be able to testify if he is correct or not. In the second case, he denounced the Nazis but since he didn't word it the way liberals wanted, they pounced on him. Neither really affects anyone's day-to-day life in this country.

This is baffling to hear from a poster that constantly laments the lack of respect that women get in society.

Women have agency. Being touched with consent is not lack of respect. Some people wouldn't mind being touched by a powerful celebrity.

Not a bad post. Trump could fill up Mountaineer Stadium with one rally and sink Manchin IMO.

by putting the post into this thread instead of engaging me in the Discourse, you, sir, have committed an ad hominem fallacy. clearly, you have sunk to such rhetorical lows because you cannot muster any counterargument to my reasoned position. homeowners lose their rights at dawn.

If Bacon seriously loses to an open and proud socialist by admission, he really needs to find a new career field that has nothing to do with politics.

I'm sorry, what?

Kara Eastman is not a socialist. Find me one shred of evidence she's ever claimed to be a socialist or has ever supported socialist policies.

She openly supports single-payer.

That's not an ad hominem fallacy.  It's appeal to ridicule, like every other contribution in this thread.

Agreed.... UncleSam maybe needs to spend a little less time on empty posts and more time on actually researching certain topics before he posts.

Here's the link the AZ CD-08 Special Election thread that I spent likely 50 Hours of time or more working on, not to mention so many other contributors...

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=287204.msg6145550#msg6145550

AZ CD-08 Low Turnout Election is obviously fake news from UncleSam....

Ghost of Ruin is going to be disappointed when he realizes the average age of /pol/ posters on 4chan, the average age of people who watch political videos on YouTube, and the politics of underclass high school students. Kids these days don't remember George W. Bush, the Iraq war, or even the 2008 economic crisis.

Their political memory begins with 2015-- they associate the Republican Party with a fun, subversive rebel who overcame all the odds and knows how to entertain with memes. And the Democratic party with a corrupt, dishonest establishment politician who isn't charismatic at all and lost.

If they're white-- which most of them are
, in the conservative movement they see an ideology that doesn't attack them for their race, while in the liberal movement they see an ideology where they're supposed to debase themselves and have no social standing to speak about anything if accused of the magic R word. If they're 18 and live in West Virginia, they'll vote for Miller, not Ojeda.

Now, they are growing up under a Republican president who is overseeing peace and prosperity for all. They are getting wise to the adults who claim to know the truth, but aren't acting in good faith themselves. The kids are smarter than you think. They can see what's really going on. I only worry about the mental health of some adults if Trump succeeds. It seems to them, the president's success can only mean the country's failure.
