Whether or not I "like" somebody seems immaterial to me in a political campaign. I'm looking for a Congressman, not a date. Why do people favor personal details over actual positions? This drives me Inksing crazy!

Most American have a rudimentary to non-existent understanding of even the basics of public policy.

This is true of all people though. Most Swedish voters don't even know what government we have.

Sounds unlikely.

I'd agree if I hadn't seen several polls over the years confirming this. To be fair, it is sometimes just below 50% so I admit to a slight exaggeration. About half would be more accurate.

Good morning, guys.  I went to bed at 2030 last night as I was just so tired.  I'll do some training this morning for an hour or two, then likely draw the rest of the day.  Tonight, the second set of company arrives so I'll go to Grandma's for dinner at 1800.

I'm about 5 minutes from starting my day.  I'm getting my computer warmed up now and about ready to sift through my emails.  I'll post again at lunch.

King, I haven't slept over at Grandma's, yet, so I haven't had a chance to help with the evening meal.  I will, though, when I move over there on Sunday night, November 16.

Why not tonight? You don't have to live with someone to help them why you are at their house.

It's at 1800. That should be about the time you get to Grandma's house every day you work. RIP helping Grandma.

I'm willing to give Jeff a lot of dietary latitude for Turkey Day. It's one of the few times his "It was a special ocassion... and Amurika!!!" is a totally valid excuse. I'm predicting lots of Cream of Mushroom calories for Bushie.

I would be thrilled to find out Bushie ate the Green Bean Casserole. More likely, he gorges himself on mashed potatoes and gravy. I doubt he likes turkey very much.

The dark meat resembles beef moreso than the white so I'd imagine he goes apesh*t on that stuff.

I love turkey.  It's my favorite part about the meal outside the pumpkin pie.  I'll talk more about the menu tonight.

I could only imagine the nap Bushie takes after eating Thanksgiving turkey! He might not wake up until Saturday.

If you love turkey, have you given thought to using lean ground turkey as a substitute for beef in your taco salad, burgers, enchilada casserole, etc.?

Now that Allison is gone and Bushie seems to have decided to become celibate, it appears weight gain is our friend's only outlet for happiness. 400 lbs by next year.
