Is it still the case that the heavy federalist vote comes in later on? (As per the 1995 referendum.)

There's a decent # of Liberal safe seats yet to report, but I doubt it affects much besides the PV.

PQ definitely heading for unofficial party.

Also, that Four way seat in Sherbrooke is now Orange.

Sherbrooke is back to Liberal (close race though). But QS is battling CAQ for Jean-Lesage in Quebec City, and is slowly catching up in Rouyn-Noranda-Temiscamingue.

QS going back and forth in a few ridings with the PLQ and CAQ. Results generally match the pre-election seat projections, but the CAQ are leading in some unexpected areas, and losing in a few areas they expected to win.

Oh and Papineau called for CAQ. THAT is historic.

QLP vote share below 25%.  What a disaster.

The popular vote looks like an absolute disaster for the PLQ - 24.6% now and they've been dropping throughout the count.

Interestingly QS have been gaining very steadily throughout - maybe they will beat the PQ into fourth there as well.

Moreau was the likeliest Couillard successor. Potential Grit heirs are interchangeable politically IMO.

Right now PQ at 11, QS at 10, not bad for the minors (lol PQ a minor) if it holds.

Quebec Solidaire was declared the winner in Sherbrooke, and Jean-Lesage looks likely to end up on Team Orange as well.

They're leading in Rouyn-Noranda by 100 votes. If it holds, they'll crack double digits in their seat count.

QS wins Sherbrooke for its second seat outside of Montreal, and Jean-Lesage is looking very likely to be the third. Rouyn-Nouranda still very close. QS's results are really the only interesting thing left now - can they supplant the PQ?

By the way, has anyone noticed the comically huge margin for the PQ in Matane-Matapedia? This was a pretty safe PQ seat but surprising that they seem to have substantially *increased* their already very sizable margin there while tanking province-wide.

PQ also currently leading in Iles-de-la-Madeleine and Ungava, which would both be gains from the PLQ. Maybe they are destined to be the party of the extreme geographic fringe of Quebec.
