Is he still a midget?

Just donated to the Bernie campaign. I realized it's a bit hypocritical for me to act all excited and everything when I haven't been contributing in any way. Obviously it's not a big deal, but it's better than nothing.

I don't get how you guys are throwing away your money like this. Is donating to a campaign a real thing? How do you pay for booze, gas, and groceries?

Well, obviously I'm pretty lucky with my financial situation right now, and I've done a decent job at saving (which is good because my income will go down by a lot next year). I feel like I can afford to sacrifice a little bit for a campaign I believe in.

I have a long drive to Miami tomorrow, but the free debate and pre-debate reception will be worth it.

Seeing all of my semester school friends go home for spring break doesn't help my motivation to study for finals.

Honestly considering getting sleeping pills, my sleeping pattern has been awful lately. Hopefully it will pick up when I go home

Sleeping pills aren't worth the side effects in my experience, but maybe your brain chemistry will handle them better than mine.

I've heard that they shouldn't be used as a short term thing so I'll probably give them a pass

Was driving past the polling place the other day and saw some old guys crazily waving Trump signs at cars, so I slowed down and stuck my tongue out at him while giving thumbs down and he got real serious and spit on my car Cheesy

In his defense, my area, or at least my neighborhood, seems to be pretty anti-Trump so he may have gotten sh**t on a regular basis and just got fed up, but still. I find something about spitting very distasteful. It's not like I flipped him off or anything.

I haven't seen anything that would suggest otherwise. Should I be worried?!?

I assume you're not a US citizen. Unless you hold a green card (do you?) you're going to get Bernie sent to jail for campaign finance violations.

Seriously though, can I get in trouble? No, I don't have a green card.

I don't know. Most likely there won't be any consequences for you but the FEC's already investigating the Sanders campaign for accepting illegal foreign donations - you should definitely contact the campaign and explain so they can cancel your donation.

Obviously they're not actually going to go after you for donating $20 or whatever but, yeah, contact the Sanders camp and get a refund to be on the safe side.

I swear these people they're sending here - they're criminals; they're rapists; they're murderers; they're serial campaign contribution law violators, - and some, I assume are good people.

Will do. Thanks for the tip.

It's definitely pretty f**king irresponsible for them not to even include an "Are you a US citizen?" question in the form you have to fill.

This should be a no-brainer. Us Americans don't go around donating to political campaigns in the UK.

This isn't surprising, given that the Sanders campaign is predominantly made up of low information voters.

So I was able to email the third-party website I made my donation through, and they'll give me a refund. That should settle everything, if I understand correctly. I'm so relieved.

So yeah, I'm an idiot. I've learned my lesson and from now on I'll be very careful.

Thanks to people who have been helpful, and the assholes can go f**k themselves.
