Aggregate average: 54.1% Approval (Grover Cleveland bellwether)

Just adding up all the %'s and dividing by 42, not using actual votes or anything.

Republican aggregate average (18): 52.9% Approval
Democrat aggregate average  (14): 49.4% Approval
Other aggregate average (10): 62.8% Approval

However...

Modern day republican aggregate average (1960-present) (5): 36.6% Approval
Modern day democrat aggregate average (1960-present) (4): 59.3% Approval

So things have obviously changed. Ask me if you want to do an aggregate average for a specific time period.

You should do the Vice Presidents next.

I'm not sure, although it would be interesting, there is no doubt I would get much less votes due to people not knowing who they are. There would have to be a little more thought and research done to form an opinion, so it wouldn't be as popular, even if many vice presidents were also presidents.
